Surgery for LCU Freshman scheduled later today

As the time for Jerrod Shelton's surgery draws near (11:30 am), please drop to your knees as often as you can throughout today to pray for the doctors and medical staff that is caring for him. Also, please pray for Jerrod and his strength and faith to carry him through this time and, of course, pray for his parents, his sister and their entire family as they no doubt have worries and concerns. You have no idea what your prayers mean to them, so please do what you can.
"Lord, please be with Jerrod Shelton and his family today more than ever as they endure the surgery that awaits. Also, Father, please guide the medical team to treat Jerrod with the great care that You provide. We are always in awe of Your great power and strength and we just want to lift up the Shelton's, the doctors and others who are in care of Jerrod at this time. We know that Jerrod is strong in faith and we just lift him up to You today and know that You will be with him in this difficult time. Amen!!"
