Talk about "edge of your seat" thriller. If you want to watch something intense and dramatic, I highly recommend "Vantage Point."

The story takes place in Spain, when the President of the United States, President Ashton, is to make a speech about the war on terror. We are first given an angle from the news reporter's view of the event when suddenly a shot rings out. The President is shot. That is only the beginning of the different viewpoints you will see when trying to figure out the mystery of who shot the president.

Though a few of the actors have limited screen time, the acting is believable. Sigourney Weaver played her role dramatically as did Forest Whitaker. He plays an innocent bystander in the crowd, who tapes the event on the camera, becoming one of the many stories involved.

Dennis Quaid and Matthew Fox both play Secret Service agents who are there at the meeting to protect the president. Of all the actors in this film, Dennis Quaid as Agent Thomas Barnes impresses me the most. I've always thought he has a talent for acting of which he proves to me again in this film.

Watching the movie is a rollercoaster. The camera takes you on a different ride each time for the several vantage points. You sit on the edge of your seat because with each new view point it takes you further to the story leading up to the missing piece in the mystery. It seems as though you are almost there or about to figure out, but then it stops and takes you to a different story. I will admit that it's frustrating, but that is what makes it fun and intense. The audience I viewed the movie with was animated and throughout the theatre I heard sighs and groans of frustration as we were all experiencing the drama together.

I will give you no clue to the mystery, but simply say that if you feel like being stressed, then go see this movie. Don't see it if you've had a stressful week and want to unwind and it's probably not something you would want to see with your grandma. Oh, and if you're one of those people who like to figure out the ending before anyone else does … well, good luck!
