"Travelers" bring it during performance.

The Hard Travelers, recently revived, have bounced back with impressive force. Their first "TWIRP Week" appearance last night was an upbeat and entertaining performance that included songs such as "Kiss the Girl," "Hallelujah," and "Hey Jude," adding a country twang to the oldies but goodies. They also included the "Feel Good Medley," which could make a royal guard smile.

But, the highlight of the evening occurred when Karson Nance, singer, guitar, harmonica, and mandolin player, ordered the audiences members to kiss their dates during "Kiss the Girl." Unfortunately, no one followed suit.

Jacob Parnell (drummer), Kyle Price (piano and vocals), and Rob Watkins (guitar, vocals, and harmonica) make up the remainder of the band. Their sound is fresh and unusual, as if listening to the rough tracks of a Beatles record. Their honest and raw stage appeal makes them as interesting to watch as any live performance. The band has a natural chemistry and stage presence, as well as several quirks which give the band it's own flavor.

All-in-all, the show was an excellent way to kick off second semester's "TWIRP Week" and there are still several events to go!
